I'm rolling! Today was our second team in training scheduled ride for Leukemia and Lymphoma. I must say that is is a great team and the enthusiasm abounds.
The 20 miles weren't too bad but a couple of the hills had me wondering since it was only the beginning of training( I've done 6 TNT rides and each one is a challenge in a different way).I decided that the hills weren't going to get me down this time. At every hill I will think of how lucky I am to be able to climb a hill on a bike.
My honored teammate, Andy Yost , would probably love to be outdoors riding on a bike than in a hospital bed. Also ,I am thinking of a special little girl named Erin who is dealing with other side effects after having beaten Leukemia. My HOPE is that there will be a cure soon for Leukemia and Lymphoma. This is my 6th ride for the Leukemia and Lymphoma 's Team in training....Lake Tahoe ...here we come!
